“As our business continues to grow, it is critical that we remain as competitive as possible, and that includes having a highly reliable, cost-effective communications network in place to ensure that we deliver the level of service our customers expect,” said Roger J. Martindell, Manager of IT services, Western Peterbilt. “Having worked with tw telecom for the past two years, we are already aware of its tremendous track record of providing exceptional reliability and value. And its impressive national and regional infrastructure means that we have a data network that gives us everything we need.”

Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, tw telecom will provide Western Peterbilt with its voice, Internet and IP VPN (MPLS) services to connect the company’s 17 locations, including its Seattle headquarters and its data center in Spokane, Wash. The new services will give Western Peterbilt a custom network design that allows it to optimize its bandwidth allocation and prioritization based on its unique needs.

“Over the past 32 years, Western Peterbilt has grown to become the largest network of heavy- and medium-duty truck dealerships in the Pacific Northwest by focusing on delivering great customer service,” said David King, vice president and general manager for tw telecom’s Seattle market. “As Western Peterbilt continues to expand and become even more dependent on data network-based applications, they need the certainty and consistency that tw telecom delivers. As a single provider in all 17 locations, we can deliver efficiencies that will help Western Peterbilt improve both its top and bottom lines.”
