TeliaSonera International Carrier today announced a renewed multi-year contract with The Quilt, the coalition that represents the United States’ most highly respected research institutions and education network organisations.
This recent contract continues the successful partnership between the two companies with TeliaSonera International Carrier providing the IPv4 and IPv6 performance, scale, and flexibility demanded by the Quilt infrastructure providers for their IP Transit services.
Quilt members are non-profit regional network aggregators that provide advanced network services in support of research and education. The Quilt – primarily funded by its participants – uses the collective strength of its membership to source services from approved vendors like TeliaSonera International Carrier.
