Cisco Unified CMBE 3000 to Support Employment Process in North Caucasus Federal District of Russia

Cisco Technologies Help the Inter-Regional Resource Center to Optimize Operations of Employment Centers in Seven Regions of the Federation

MOSCOW May 28, 2012 – Cisco today announced the first deployment of Cisco® Unified Communications Manager Business Edition (CMBE) 3000 IP telephony solution in Russia. The first organization to install the Cisco collaboration solution is the Inter-Regional Resource Center of the North Caucasus Federal District located in the city of Pyatigorsk.  The center has chosen CMBE 3000 because of its broad functionality, ease of use and affordability. The project was implemented by Orbita, a Cisco Premier Certified Partner in Russia.

The telephone station can support up to 300 subscribers and up to 400 lines. It enables any employee to download an enterprise phone number to a personal mobile phone and receive incoming business calls beyond the office premises.  Besides audio, soft phones can support video calls, which makes operations more productive.

Cisco Business Edition 3000 supports analog, IP and video phones; enterprise soft-phone clients (including Cisco Jabber® unified communications and multimedia applications); immediate messaging, collaboration and conferencing at Windows and Mac OS-based desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. The system also provides integration with Cisco WebEx® cloud services.  Connection to the new telephone station can be set by all types of trunks: analog, E1 and SIP. The solution includes voice menus and voice mail, interactive assistant software, and conferencing functionality (up to 24 participants).
