BROADSOFT WON FIRST PLACE IN CTIA’S SECOND ANNUAL BIG IDEA CONTEST

GAITHERSBURG, MD, May 11, 2012 – BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:BSFT, news, filings) today announced it was named first place winner in CTIA’s second annual BIG Idea Contest honoring the mobile industry’s newest and most innovative concepts focused on changing the way we live, work and play.

BroadSoft presented BroadTouch Business Communicator™ to a live voting audience of mobile professionals at the Exhibit Innovations Stage. The submissions with the top three votes were declared first, second and third place winners of the CTIA WIRELESS BIG Idea Contest.

BroadTouch Business Communicator is a unified communications experience that will enable service providers to transform the way individuals communicate by making voice, video, business directories, call logs, instant messaging and presence available on a single interface that spans a user’s mobile devices and platforms, including Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.
