Expansion Adds 104 Miles of Fiber to Tennessee Network
LOUISVILLE, CO–(Marketwire – April 3, 2012) – Zayo announces today that it has completed construction of its fiber network expansion in Nashville, TN. Through this build, Zayo has nearly doubled the fiber route mileage in the greater Nashville area to 104 miles. These additional miles will allow Zayo to serve the markets of Franklin, Brentwood and Oak Hill with dark fiber, Ethernet and wavelength services.
Zayo has a substantial and growing presence in Tennessee. In addition to the Nashville network project, Zayo offers it metro and longhaul services in Johhnson City and Kingsport and has recently completed expansions in Memphis including extending its fiber-to-the-tower (FTT) network into Northern Mississippi. Zayo also operates carrier-neutral colocation facilities in Nashville and Memphis to securely house customer equipment and provide access to a broad range of carrier networks.
