GAITHERSBURG, MD, April 12, 2012 – BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:BSFT, news, filings), today announced Telekom Slovenia Group, Slovenia’s leading telecommunications operator, has chosen the BroadWorks® platform to power its IP Centrex offering which targets the Slovenian enterprise and government market.
Telekom Slovenia Group has experienced significant growth of business IP telephony users in recent years, and currently serves more than 2.3 million users of mobile services, as well as more than one million residential and commercial users of fixed telephony, and ‘triple play’ services including voice, IPTV and Internet services. The operator selected the BroadWorks platform as it sought to expand Telekom Slovenia’s comprehensive portfolio of fixed, mobile, Internet and state-of-the-art integrated telecommunication solutions to include in-demand enterprise services such as video, call center and messaging.

Small and medium-sized enterprises – By leveraging a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, Telekom Slovenia’s SME customers experience a rich set of enhanced capabilities for hosted voice without the operational and maintenance expenses associated with on-premises PBX equipment.
