“The GENiUS platform continues to increase GENBAND’s value to service providers worldwide, enabling service providers to optimize their existing network assets as well as gain the agility they require to be more competitive in today’s ever-changing marketplace,” said Jeremy Duke, Founder and Chief Analyst of Synergy Research Group. “GENBAND is in a unique position with its wide breadth of advanced network solutions from PSTN migration providing substantial OPEX savings to an end-to-end IMS roadmap enabling operators to better compete with Over-the-Top players. GENBAND’s acquisition and successful integration of Nortel NGN assets in 2010 has significantly bolstered this position and at Synergy we continue to measure this success as seen in the strong market share gains and leadership that GENBAND has accomplished.”
GENBAND GENiUS IMS offers a unique, flexible and simplified network transformation solution that provides best-in-class elements for both integrated and distributed IMS environments. GENiUS IMS eliminates the complexity of deploying, integrating and managing separate IMS elements across operational systems, enabling deployment of advanced communications services for both narrowband and broadband access and supporting seamless evolution to IMS and beyond. GENBAND’s unique GENiUS platform supports existing voice services, IP multimedia services, IMS enhanced services and hybrid deployments using the same network solution, offering service providers a seamless and flexible network transformation approach.
The GENBAND RCS-e solution, powered by the A2 Communication Applications Server and S3 Session Border Controller (SBC), provides an evolutionary path for network migration, encompassing rich end user applications and multiplatform mobile clients in addition to edge security and quality monitoring with integrated system and client management. The solution can be tailored for entry level, economical pre-IMS deployments all the way to full-scale network deployments.
