The SOC 3 examination, conducted by an independent auditor, evaluates and tests the design and operating effectiveness of the data center’s policies, procedures and controls.
The SOC 3 examination evaluated the Company’s data center controls for compliance with the Availability and Security principles set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Trust Services Principles, Criteria, and Illustrations for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy. Cbeyond processes, procedures and controls have been formally evaluated and tested. This examination demonstrates that Cbeyond meets the relevant security and availability criteria and that its customers are served and hosted in a secure, controlled facility. Cbeyond may display a SOC 3 seal signifying completion of the SOC 3 examination on its website as further verification for users who want assurance of the controls in place at Cbeyond.
