IO Announces Contract with Impulse Advanced Communications

PHOENIX, Ariz. – March 6, 2012 – IO, the leading provider of next-generation modular data center technology and services, announced today that they have been awarded a contract by Impulse Advanced Communications, a leading communications service provider.

As part of the agreement, IO will provide Impulse with Data Center as a Service(DCaaS™) delivered out of the IO Phoenix data center. This approach supplies Impulse a high-performance, cost-effective solution – without having to invest resources in building and maintaining its own data center.

“Our value proposition is designing voice and data networks that prepare customers for growth, and IO provides us with scalability to accommodate the expansion we need to make to keep pace with our customers,” said Dave Clark, President, Impulse Advanced Communications. “IO Phoenix is a great match for us because of the area’s limited risk from natural disasters – important for Southern California companies like Impulse. Also, IO provides robust network connectivity which is critical to our business communications services.”

IO Phoenix is the largest commercially available data center in the United States to achieve Tier III Design Certification from the Uptime Institute.
