Huawei Launches Mobile Broadband Solutions and World’s Fastest Smartphone for Connected Possibilities at MWC 2012

[Shenzhen, China, 27 February, 2012]: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, will promote the theme of "Connected Possibilities" through a series of announcements, product launches, and its first broadband forum, at Mobile World Congress 2012 from February 27 to March 1 in Barcelona.

Huawei's Connected Possibilities

This new information era has generated significant friction and challenges for the ICT industry. Huawei views ultra broadband, zero waiting and ubiquitous connectivity as the keys to delivering the speed, quality, simplicity and freedom in sharing content that users have come to expect, and that are critical in realizing the possibilities offered in this connected world.

The rapid development of new mobile technologies, increasing popularity of smart devices, and expanding relevance of social networks has triggered exponential increases in mobile data traffic – once measured in kilobytes, data will be measured in gigabytes. Across all strata - political, economic, social and technological - our mobile earth is fast becoming a multi-dimensional world of connected possibilities for redefining mobile.

Mobile Broadband Products and Solutions for Connected Possibilities

During MWC 2012, Huawei will launch a new portfolio of solutions that will enable operators, enterprises, and consumers to seize the opportunities and address the challenges ushered in by the new information age. Some of these new solutions include:

The Monetize QoE solution enables operators to increase profitability.

The Beyond LTE solution is a future-oriented mobile technology that improves network capacity.

Huawei's ARU offers the industry's largest capacity and is capable of supporting Giga-bit throughput in one radio unit.

The AtomCell is the industry's lightest, most compact, and most integrated micro base station.

Huawei's quad-core devices, including the world's fastest smartphone, and its latest tablet, will deliver an enhanced mobile user experience.

In addition, at the Broader Way Forum on February 27, Huawei will convene leaders and experts from across the industry to explore opportunities for the future of National Broadband and discuss broadband's role as an enabler of social and economic development around the world and how these positive changes can be accelerated through technological innovation.
