The judging panel of Global Mobile Awards selected Huawei’s Mobile Business Operations Hub Solution as a nominee for ‘Best Network Product or Solution for Serving Customers’.
The Huawei Mobile Business Operations Hub solution is a cloud-based centralized platform that enables CSPs (communication service providers) and virtual network operators to easily operate, manage, differentiate and expand its wholesale and retail business operations for mobile voice, data, and content. It provides integrated billing, customer relationship management, core network, and value-added services capabilities through a Pay as you Use (PAYU) commercial model and a managed services delivery model. Through standardized processes, integrated BSS, gateways and APIs, and defined services catalog and pricing, the Huawei Mobile Business Operations Hub enables streamlined operational efficiencies and drives substantial cost savings with agility to support and launch new business partners and services at market speed. A leading pan-European network operator achieved 50% OPEX (Operating Expense) reduction in 2011 on its first year of use.
GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards offers organizations across the global mobile ecosystem (including all converging vertical sectors) the opportunity to showcase the best and latest mobile products, applications, services, and initiatives to the world. The said awards are open to all eligible mobile companies, and supporters of the mobile ecosystem – GSMA Members, Associate Members and Non-members – as defined in the individual category eligibility descriptions.
In total, 158 nominees have been shortlisted for this year’s Global Mobile Awards, the winners will be presented on Tuesday, 28th February at the GSMA Mobile World Congress.
