Matrix Medical Network Adopts IO’s Modular Technology Infrastructure for Always-on Member and Patient Care

PHOENIX, Ariz.January 10, 2011 – IO, the leading provider of next-generation modular data center technology and services, announced today that it has been awarded a contract with Matrix Medical Network, a leader in multidisciplinary care management and medical assessment services.

As part of the agreement, IO will provide Matrix Medical Network with Data Center as a Service (DCaaS™) at IO Phoenix, delivered through its modular data center technology platform IO Anywhere®. This approach provides Matrix Medical Network a high performance, cost-effective solution – without having to invest resources in building and maintaining its own data center.

“From data gathering to reporting, IO’s highly secure, always-on technology infrastructure plays a significant role in the success of our health plan programs,” said Michael Cantor, Vice President, Infrastructure and Data Management at Matrix Medical Network. “With IO Anywhere as our foundation, IO enables us to efficiently and securely collect member data and transform it into actionable information.”

Dedicated to improving member care, in 2001 Matrix Medical Network began providing multidisciplinary care management services and in 2007 led the industry as one of the first companies to provide prospective medical assessment services. Today, Matrix continues to lead the industry through the integration of these two core competencies, which is helping clients achieve high-quality, cost-effective care.
