TelecityGroup, Europe’s industry-leading provider of carrier-neutral data centres, today announced that US-based, the world’s largest live video platform serving 31 million users a month, has selected TelecityGroup Netherlands as its colocation provider in Europe. The deal will enable to further expand its services in Europe and maximise European service levels for TwitchTV, the company’s new and fast-growing video game broadcasting and chat community. will host its mission-critical infrastructure in one of TelecityGroup’s premium Amsterdam data centres, where the environment supporting high density hosting in addition to the presence of AMS-IX, the Dutch Internet Exchange, will provide the resilience and connectivity to maximise TwitchTV’s service levels in Europe in a cost-efficient way.
