Orange Business Services – Trading Solutions Selects Application from GENBAND Developer Challenge Winner

Powered by GENBAND’s A2 Communications Application Server, Cliniconex’s Stock Trader application enables differentiated IP offerings for the financial community worldwide

Frisco, Texas, October 4, 2011 – GENBAND, a leading developer of IP infrastructure and application solutions, today announced that the Cliniconex Stock Trader Alert application, which was developed as part of GENBAND’s GENFuzion™ Developer Challenge, has been selected by Orange Business Services – Trading Solutions, the leader in voice and electronic trading infrastructure and services for trading communities.

Cliniconex’s innovative Stock Tracker Alert application automatically connects brokers and traders when web-configurable thresholds have been reached, allowing professionals to communicate faster than before to buy or sell stocks. Working with fixed and mobile phones as well as Trading Solutions’ Open Trade smart turret, Stock Trader initiates a click to call and connects the professional to a live trader or broker to handle a trade. Open Trade, which was developed by Trading Solutions as a next generation personal trading assistant and platform, utilizes the GENBAND A2™ platform’s Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) embedded on its financial extranet as a private cloud-based application server.

“By opening their APIs to developers, GENBAND is fostering much needed innovation in the marketplace and establishing a foundation for future ground-breaking applications that provide our customers with numerous benefits and competitive advantages throughout the trading life cycle,” said Lionel Grosclaude, CEO, Trading Solutions. “The speed to market of this application was truly remarkable and demonstrates the value of the GENFuzion developer program, helping our customers increase productivity, reduce IT costs and function with maximum efficiency. We look forward to presenting this innovative stock tracking solution to our customers in the financial market.”

“The GENFuzion Developer Challenge presented an outstanding opportunity for our company, providing access to GENBAND’s tier 1 customer, Trading Solutions, and delivering a truly differentiated development community and platform,” said Anthony Mar, CEO, Cliniconex. “By collaborating with Trading Solutions while leveraging the A2 platform’s open programmability, our development team was able to create a working prototype within three weeks and demo the product within six weeks.”

“The possibilities enabled by the Open Trade platform and A2 integration illustrate the virtually limitless frontier for customization and innovative application development,” said Charlie Vogt, President and CEO, GENBAND. “We created the GENFuzion Developer Community as an open, collaborative eco-system to bring together app developers and service providers. The Cliniconex solution and Orange Business Services – Trading Solutions collaboration exemplifies the purpose of the platform in every way and we congratulate them both.”
