SINGAPORE – IDC has once again named Verizon as a leading player in the Asia-Pacific next-generation telecom services market in the analyst firm’s annual report on the region.
In its report, “IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Next Generation Telecom Services 2011 Vendor Analysis,”1 IDC attributes Verizon’s leadership position to the company’s continued upgrading of its global network, investments in its datacenters and security capabilities, plus ongoing efforts to enhance the overall customer experience.
The IDC MarketScape assesses the capabilities and strategies of 11 key telecom service providers (SPs) in the Asia/Pacific region, based on a comprehensive framework and a set of parameters that are expected to be most conducive for the success in delivering ICT services to the enterprises in the short- and long-term period.
