Frontier Communications Corporation (NYSE:FTR, news, filings) today announced an expansion of Metro Ethernet (MetroE) service to more than 55 new markets in 10 states. The expansion addresses the increasingly bandwidth-heavy needs of Frontier's mid-size and large business customers.

Frontier MetroE is a scalable solution offering these business customers customizable, secure and reliable solutions that include next-generation Internet access and wide area networking.
