Popular Drupal 7 Powered Web CMS Improves Uptime and Increases Performance with Voxel’s Cloud-Based Infrastructure
Leading managed hosting, cloud computing and content delivery solution provider, Voxel, was selected by SubHub as their new hosting provider. SubHub enables individuals and organizations to publish and make money from their content online, hosting thousands of websites worldwide. It selected Voxel for its guaranteed 100 percent network uptime, ability to manage traffic spikes and exceptional Drupal 7 support.
“We’re pleased to be the hosting provider behind SubHub’s powerful Drupal 7 web CMS,” said Raul Martynek, CEO of Voxel. “Voxel already powers some of the largest and most heavily trafficked Drupal websites on the Internet today and we are happy to partner with SubHub to provide our hosting services to even more websites. We look forward to working with SubHub long into the future.”
“SubHub’s mission is to enable anyone to profit from their passion publishing, and to make money from their content on the web,” said Evan Rudowski, CEO of SubHub. “To do this we need a hosting partner that is highly reliable, responsive and proactive. They need to be able to handle a constantly growing user-base and large spikes in traffic. And our partner needs to provide 24 x7 x 365 support so that our customers can depend on us to always have their websites up and running. Voxel checks every box.”
The new SubHub hosting infrastructure consists of two load balanced web servers built on dedicated VoxCLOUD instances and two VoxSERVER physical database servers with high performance SSD drives and additional NFS storage. SubHub will be able to manage all hosting services through Voxel’s Hosting API (hAPI) to deploy, manage and monitor all Voxel services through a web browser, desktop application or mobile device.
