Sidus Data Teams Up with Level 3 Communications to Upgrade Bandwidth and Optimize Performance

Sidus Data, a leading provider of Managed Hosting and Cloud Computing Services, is working with Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings), an international provider of fiber-based communications services, to increase bandwidth capacity and bring significant upgrades to Sidus’ Managed Services offering. This optimization offers Sidus customers substantial increases in cloud capacity and provides an added layer of reliability, speed and efficiency.

“Level 3 will help us accommodate the continuing growth we’re seeing from our Managed Cloud offering,” said Sidus CEO Jason Silva. “This upgrade is part of Sidus’ 2011 overall plan to increase capacity on our entire infrastructure to 1GB per second.”

Under the terms of the agreement, Level 3 will provide dedicated Internet access (DIA) over its extensive, Tier 1 IP transit networks.
