Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings) today announced that it has been identified as a top channel partner for 2011 by Channel Partners Magazine readers and included in the magazine’s annual list of Top 50 Channel Programs. The winners were announced during the Fall 2011 Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Chicago.
Level 3 was selected from nearly 250 nominees comprised of carriers, resellers, master agencies, and hardware and software vendors. This recognition marks the fourth consecutive year that Level 3 has been recognized as having a top channel program.
“Our readers consistently identify the programs that enable them to excel in the provisioning of services,” said Khali Henderson, editor-in-chief of Channel Partners Magazine. “Level 3 should be commended for continually being recognized as a key advocate for the channel community.”
Each year, Channel Partners Magazine asks its readers to determine the communications industry’s 50 best indirect channel programs; the most recent survey took place in July and the results were compiled from responses given by 1,500 qualified channel partners, including master agents, subagents, independent agents, VARs, dealers, consultants and brokers. All 50 winners are featured in the September 2011 issue of Channel Partners Magazine; in a downloadable Channel Program Guide available on Aug. 24; recognized during the general session at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo on Aug. 24; and designated as a 2011 Top 50 Channel Program winner in the Channel Program Guide online.
“Level 3 has long been committed to the indirect channel, focused on building a culture that embraces our channel partner and strategic alliance relationships,” said Nigel Williams, senior vice president of Enterprise Sales and Indirect Channel. “We are delighted that we have been recognized again by the channel community as a leader in providing high-quality sales support that offers a comprehensive portfolio of services solutions and continually improves the customer experience for enterprises.”
