In this position, she is a principal advisor to the Board on legal and corporate governance matters. Before Frontier, Ms. Abernathy was a Partner at two major Washington, D.C. law firms. She served as a Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission from 2001 to 2005 and before that served in senior legal positions at several communications providers. Her achievements encompass academia, corporate and private practice.
