Integra Telecom Earns SIP Trunking Interoperability Certification with Panasonic’s KX-NCP Converged IP-PBX Telephone Systems

PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 11, 2011 – Integra Telecom Inc., providing business grade networking, communications and cloud solutions, has earned Panasonic’s Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunking Interoperability certification with the KX-NCP500/1000 and KX-TDE 100/200/600 business phone systems.

This certification helps to ensure that Panasonic business telephone systems will be able to work seamlessly with Integra’s SIP Solutions SIP Trunking Service.

Integra continues to expand the number of IP-PBXs certified to operate with its SIP Trunking service. The certification from Panasonic allows Integra to provide customers with the following benefits:

  • More efficient use of bandwidth by combining voice and data networks onto a single service
  • Dynamic bandwidth allocation so more bandwidth is available when voice calls are not in use
  • Multiple compression options that place more calls over the same bandwidth with no need for additional circuits

“We’re pleased to earn Panasonic’s SIP Trunking Interoperability certification with the KXNCP500/1000 and KX-TDE 100/200/600 products,” said Brian Gregory, director of voice and data services for Integra Telecom. “This certification positions Integra to work even more closely with Panasonic dealers and organizations relying on these business phone systems, building our portfolio of SIP Trunking services and delivering enhanced features and productivity to our business customers.”

Integra’s interoperability with Panasonic will provide a more cost-effective communications solution for businesses. With productivity-enhancing applications, the Panasonic telecommunications platforms allow virtually anytime anywhere access to a myriad of business communications applications. Integra’s certification confirms that businesses have selected a dependable and optimal solution when choosing to use Panasonic platforms with Integra’s SIPbased VoIP service.
