(NYSE:ABVT, news, filings), a leading provider of high bandwidth connectivity solutions, today announced that it has connected its newly-upgraded low latency network to Options Datacentres, a London-based provider of `state-of-the-art` data centre facilities.
Options Datacentres, whose portfolio of clients includes organisations within the insurance, banking, healthcare, IT/Cloud and governmental sectors, is now connected to AboveNet`s international private optical network and extensive fibre footprint for high bandwidth connectivity.
Options Datacentres customers will benefit from access to AboveNet`s complete portfolio of metro Ethernet, WDM, long haul and IP transit services, in Europe and the US with connections to more than 450 data centres. AboveNet`s infrastructure includes more than 2.3 million fibre miles, an intercity network spanning approximately 13,000 route miles and a global Tier 1 IP backbone.
