Telx Director of Channels recognized for professional achievements and influence within the data center, interconnection and telecommunications channels
New York, NY (July 25, 2011) – Telx®, a leading interconnection and data center provider in 15 strategic North American markets, today announced that Mary Fahey, Director of Channels, has been named to the Top 100 Women of the Channel by the Everything Channel’s CRN. The Top 100 Women were chosen by the editors of the magazine based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. Ms. Fahey and the rest of these outstanding women represent a changing trend in a traditionally all-male industry. Everything Channel will be running a special feature on the Women of the Channel in the July issue of CRN magazine and will also have expanded coverage online.
“We are very pleased to see women executives reaching the highest levels in a wide range of dynamic companies. It is with great pleasure that we honor the women that have made a profound impact in the technology marketplace. We offer our congratulations to all of the women included on our list for their significant contributions to our industry,” said Robert C. DeMarzo, senior vice president and editorial director, Everything Channel.
Fahey’s achievements include the recruitment and retaining of more than 50 channel partners in the past year, including three Master Agents nationwide. She also drove Telx’s expansion of International alliances, including training and on-boarding. Mary’s primary focus at Telx includes marketing and awareness of Telx’s channel partner program.
“I am honored to be named to this list of influential women in the technology industry,” said Mary Fahey, Director of Channels for Telx. “My primary goal is to create a high-value community of partners with complementary technologies and services. I look forward to continuing the expansion of the number of partners who contribute to revenue goals on a monthly basis. Telx’s industry-leading community of service providers, financial markets firms, cloud providers and large Enterprises, as well as our interconnection service model, makes Telx a great channel partner in any of our locations.”
