CAMBRIDGE, MA – July 20, 2011 – Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:AKAM, news, filings), the leading provider of cloud optimization services, today announced that Paul Sagan, chief executive officer, will ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell in Times Square, New York tomorrow, Thursday, July 21 at 9:30 a.m. (all times are Eastern time).
Mr. Sagan will join NASDAQ Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Anna Ewing in presiding over the Market Open. The ceremony will begin at 9:15 a.m., with remarks from Ms. Ewing and Mr. Sagan just prior to the official market opening at 9:30 a.m.
