Point of Presence to ensure premium outsourcing options for burgeoning Manchester business community
Leading network solutions and connectivity provider SSE Telecoms is today announcing they will have a presence at TelecityGroup’s new state-of-the-art Manchester 3 data centre from launch. This will give customers locating infrastructure in the new facility access to a wide range of connectivity and peering options across the UK via SSE Telecoms’ extensive network.
SSE Telecoms identified Manchester as a key location for network expansion due to the city’s rapid growth as one of the UK’s primary business hubs and its North-West location. These combined elements align perfectly with their ability to offer single and diverse layer 1 and 2 network solutions to Scotland, to London, around the UK and onwards to international locations.

TelecityGroup’s new Manchester 3 facility – opening later in 2011 – will meet the latent demand for premium, centrally located and highly connected data centre space in central Manchester, offering companies the optimum environment to locate their telecoms, internet and IT infrastructure. SSE Telecoms’ partnership with TelecityGroup will enable it to provide high-bandwidth and dark fibre services for customers.
