BTI Systems Bolsters Strategy, Sales Functions to Support Cable Focus

Appoints Cable Industry Veteran to Lead Sales Organization and Manage Critical MSO Deployments

Ottawa — Monday, June 13, 2011 // BTI Systems, an innovator in packet optical networking for metropolitan networks, today announced that it has added industry veteran Jeff DeLazaro to lead its Cable Sales Organization as Vice President. DeLazaro is charged with creating BTI Systems’ sales programs and strategic vision to address the company's growing MSO customer base.

Relying on more than 20 years of experience in technology sales management and market development, DeLazaro will focus on helping cable operators manage competitive opportunities and address technical challenges, including the need to deliver a scalable infrastructure for business services, wireless backhaul and content delivery

infrastructure and applications.

DeLazaro previously managed strategic CATV accounts at BigBand Networks, and prior to that worked as Vice President of Sales at Imagine Communications directing its launch into the highly competitive CATV HD compression market. DeLazaro also held a senior management role as Regional Vice President of Sales for Cedar Point Communications, a company in the CATV voice over IP soft-switch sector, and held the same title during his stint at Broadband Access Systems, a 2nd Generation CMTS supplier acquired by ADC.
