Paperless contracts prove more efficient for both dealers and customers
Atlanta, GA – June 17, 2011-To expedite sales orders for customers, Birch Communications, a leading IP-based telecommunications and managed services provider for small- and medium-sized businesses, will begin using a new automated sales form, including secure DocuSign software, allowing customers to receive contracts digitally, and sign them electronically. The new process is scheduled to be in place starting Monday, June 20.
“The new technology with DocuSign allows our sales team to get contracts to customers quickly, and with the auto-populate option in document fields, human error is less likely. Once the forms are filled out, a packet is generated and e-mailed to the customer for signing. Consequently, we can process an order in half the time,” said Brad Smith, Birch’s vice president of sales.
“With the new automated forms and expedited order software developed by Trinisys L.L.C., our customers can start using Birch products and services even sooner,” said Christopher L. Ramsey, Birch’s vice-president, chief sales and marketing officer “DocuSign provides the well-known brand and digital security value we want to offer our customers.”
“You can’t afford any lost time when you are running a business. The majority of our customers run small- to medium-sized businesses. We want to make sure we are a business partner, finding the best way to reach our customer’s needs,” said Vincent M. Oddo, Birch’s president and chief executive officer. “At Birch, we are ‘At Your Service©.’ We are always looking for new ways to better serve our customers.”
New customers will have the opportunity to receive contracts via e-mail from their sales representative, sign and initial the documents electronically, then automatically send the signed and legal document back to Birch for immediate processing.
