International expanded availability will support the growing number of businesses with presence in both the U.S. and Central America

(NASDAQ: PAET), which develops award-winning Internet Protocol (IP) phone and network systems, and ScanSource, Inc., a leading international value-added distributor of specialty technology products, announced today that they have signed an agreement to expand their marketing and sales efforts of the Allworx product line to include Latin America and the Caribbean.
ScanSource Latin America will carry the entire Allworx product line that consists of its VoIP premise-based key systems and PBX systems. The products serve a range of business sizes – from Small Office/Home Office (SO/HO) environments, up to those with 250 users. They also provide a complete IP solution for end users. Utilizing SIP Trunking, as well as traditional carrier services, the Allworx product has the flexibility to meet the basics of the market demand in Latin America and allow customers to grow their communications capabilities as their businesses grow.
“Given the expansion of the Central American Free Trade Agreement, we expect an increased number of businesses to have a presence in both Central America and the United States. Working with ScanSource Latin America, Allworx has already appointed and trained several third party resellers in the region.
