AboveNet Extends its Network to i/o’s Modular Data Center in Edison, New Jersey

i/o Utilizes Modular Data Center Platform to Convert Warehouse into a Powered and Globally Connected Data Center in Less Than 60 Days

PHOENIX, Ariz. – June 6, 2011 – i/o, the leading provider of digital energy technology, today announced that high bandwidth connectivity solutions provider AboveNet, Inc. (NYSE:ABVT, news, filings), has extended its dedicated fiber network to i/o NEW JERSEY – the world’s largest modular data center. The addition of AboveNet at the New Jersey data center will allow i/o to offer an array of low latency, gigabit-speed networking services to address growing bandwidth and always-on customer demands.
