LOUISVILLE, Colo. – MAY 19, 2011 –Zayo Group CFO Ken desGarennes has been recognized by the Denver Business Journal as the ‘CFO of the Year’ among Denver’s largest companies. The CFO awards are given to financial professionals in the Denver region for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.
In his position as CFO of Zayo, desGarennes has contributed to the growth of the company and its acquisitions over the past 4 years. Zayo was founded in 2007and has grown to a $320 million per year, annualized, provider of bandwidth infrastructure and carrier neutral colocation services across the country. In support of that growth, Ken led the organization through several rounds of debt and equity financing including its $350 million of bond offerings in addition to leading the organizations day to day financial operations.
