TelecityGroup, Europe’s leading provider of premium network independent data centres, announced today that it has been recertified with the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 27001:2005 standards – the globally recognised certifications for information security and quality management.
The accreditations cover all of TelecityGroup’s operational data centres for a further three years, and demonstrate TelecityGroup’s commitment to provide optimum services for its customers and meeting their business requirements.
The ISO 27001:2005 standard is the strictest international standard in information security management and enables companies to certify the security practices they adopt within their organisation. This requires a systematic examination of an organisation’s information security risks, taking into account any threats or vulnerabilities. The recertification of this standard demonstrates TelecityGroup’s, comprehensive suite of security controls and how its overarching management processes ensure these controls continue to meet its customers’ security needs.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard is a business quality management standard, which demonstrates that procedures are in place to ensure operational standards are met, The recertification of the ISO 9001:2008 standard highlights TelecityGroup’s effective quality management system, and the high quality service it provides its customers.
Rob Coupland, COO TelecityGroup said, “We are delighted to have been recertified for the ISO 9001:2008 and 27001:2005 standards. This underlines our commitment to providing premium data centre facilities and optimum customer service.
