NTT America Drives Telecom Industry Forward at Key Events in Q2 2011

Tier-1 global IP network provider adds value to important discussions regarding IPv6 technology, Latin America broadband connectivity and monetizing cloud services

NEW YORK – NTT America, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) and a Tier-1 global IP network services provider, today announced its plans to participate in several key industry events during the second quarter of 2011.

– Rocky Mountain 2011 IPv6 Summit  – April 25-27 in Denver

At Interop, NTT America’s Chief Technology Officer Doug Junkins will join other industry experts at the Carrier Cloud Forum, hosted by Light Reading and Heavy Reading, to explore how cloud-based services will evolve to be profit engines of the future. Doug will provide NTT America’s strategy on cloud services in a Q&A session titled, “Service Provider Perspective” at 2:15 to 2:35 p.m. (PT). In addition, Doug will also participate in a panel, titled, “Monetizing the Cloud: Turning XaaS-Related Services into a Profitable Business,” at 2:50 p.m. (PT). – Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) 2011: Inside the Network – May 17-20 in Dallas

At TIA, leaders from across the information technology communications field will come together to discuss security, sustainability and reliability of the network.
