Atlanta, GA – Apr. 26, 2011– Birch Communications, a leading IP-based telecom and managed services provider to small and medium-sized businesses, has completed the acquisition of the telecom customer assets of Accutel of Texas, a competitive local exchange carrier based in Dallas, Texas.

“Birch welcomes the former Accutel customers with open arms. These customers are a great fit for Birch following our recent build-out of the Birch IP-Network in Dallas, El Paso, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Laredo,” said Vincent Oddo, Birch president and CEO. “These new customers will benefit from our proven ability to provide world-class service and world-class support.”
