HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Apr 05, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) —
ADTRAN(R), Inc., (NASDAQ:ADTN, news, filings), a leading provider of next-generation networking solutions, today announced that Wes-Tex Telephone Cooperative and Telecommunications, a residential and business service provider in Western Texas, has selected ADTRAN’s flagship product, the Total Access(R) 5000 Multi-Service Access and Aggregation Platform (MSAP) to deliver voice, data and video services over its Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network as part of a Broadband Stimulus award.
Wes-Tex selected the ADTRAN Total Access 5000 because it is proven as a delivery system for large deployments of voice, data and IPTV services in FTTH-based networks. The Total Access 5000 is a superior all Ethernet-based FTTH platform that delivers industry-leading broadband capacity and performance.
“When looking for a solution to deliver triple-play, we researched companies from top to bottom.
