Global IP Network Vice President to discuss innovative video technologies with other industry experts
WHAT:
Michael Wheeler, vice president of the Global IP Network business unit at NTT America, will participate in a workshop at the Bloomberg 2011 Media Summit titled, “Video Anytime Anywhere: Video Across Platforms – Television, Internet and Mobile – Understanding the Value Proposition.”
Along with several other industry experts, Wheeler will offer thoughts on how consumers are rapidly increasing their demand for video entertainment across multiple platforms, creating a need for education from industry leaders on new and revised value propositions. Additional topics include digital entertainment industry and innovative video technologies.
WHO
Wheeler brings more than 15 years of sales management and operational experience in the Internet/data communications industry to NTT America, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications, a Tier-1 global IP network services provider.
In his current role as Vice President of the Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit, he is responsible for all financial, engineering, operational and customer relationship activities for the business unit. Previously, Wheeler led the sales and business development organization for the GIN Business Unit, including direct sales, account management, indirect channel sales, sales engineering, marketing, product management and business development activities.
