NTT America to Present on Cloud Security and Demo Enhanced Cloud Computing Platform at Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco

NTT America, a global infrastructure services provider and wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, will be demonstrating its cloud computing platform at the Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco, held at the Moscone West Expo Hall, at booth #907.  The annual multi-track event, co-produced by O’Reilly Media, Inc. and UBM TechWeb, showcases the latest Web 2.0 business models, development paradigms, products, and is explicitly created to address the needs of technical, design, marketing, and business professionals building the next iteration of the Web.

At the event, NTT America‘s technical staff will be on-hand to provide demonstrations and discuss the company’s hosting, cloud computingsecurity and colocation offerings that are critical components for companies planning to capitalize on the rapid and unpredictable growth of new technologies and Web content services.

To further demonstrate the security of the NTT Communications cloud computing platform, cloud security specialist, Eric Greenberg, will give a talk entitled Crack the Code of Cloud Security and Unleash its Power on Tuesday, March 29 from 2:55 – 3:15 PDT in the Solutions Theater in the Expo Hall.  In this cutting-edge talk by industry author and veteran Eric Greenberg, CEO of Cloud Approach, you will learn invaluable new techniques for securing the cloud and unleashing its power drawn from extensive in-the-field experience deploying large-scale cloud infrastructure.

The Data Center Services division of NTT America develops the critical infrastructure necessary to meet today’s enterprise hosting requirements.  The company, long known for its ability to rapidly deploy and scale managed hosting servers, has built a new foundation of both public and enterprise private cloud computing platforms.  These platforms enable businesses of all sizes to develop their own computing environments based upon their specific needs of CPU, memory, storage and network, and self-manage them on a utility basis by adding as much or as little new resources as required by their business.
