Net Insight chosen for expansion of Digital Terrestrial TV network in Morocco

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Net Insight, a leading developer of efficient and scalable transport solutions for media, IP and broadcast networks, today announces that the national public broadcaster in Morocco, Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision (SNRT) has chosen Net Insight for expanding their existing Digital Terrestrial TV network. Net Insight won this order in partnership with Ericsson Morocco.

SNRT, the national public broadcaster in Morocco, will use Net Insight’s Nimbra platform for expanding their existing DTT-network. The purpose of the network expansion is to enhance the availability of the network as well as protect their services and investment already made.

This project is the latest phase of the digital network build-out for SNRT. The Net Insight Nimbra platform will offer best-in-class availability and control functionalities to the existing and expanded network. Redundancy will be provided on both a DVB-ASI service level as well as SDH-STM-1 trunk level. The Net Insight network management system Nimbra Vision will be used to monitor and control the quality and availability of the network services.

Net Insight won this order in partnership with Ericsson Morocco. Ericsson will be the prime integrator of the project delivering project management, support and installation services.
