Gray to Highlight Economic Impact of Ethernet Innovations; Other Company Presentations to Examine 100 Gigabit Ethernet Standard, Data Center Architectures and Cloud Computing

MEDIA ADVISORY — SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb. 22, 2011 — Juniper Networks (NASDAQ:JNPR, news, filings) Senior Vice President and General Manager of Ethernet Switching Alex Gray is scheduled to discuss recent innovations in data center network architectures that deliver a quantum leap in performance, scale and simplification during a keynote address to the Ethernet Technology Summit on Thursday, February 24 at 11:00 am PST in Santa Clara, Calif. In addition, Juniper will participate in panel discussions during the Summit that will highlight the impact of the 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) standard as well as the optimal deployment of Ethernet technology in data centers and cloud computing environments.

Dhritiman Dasgupta, director of product marketing, Juniper Networks, will participate in a panel discussion chaired by Seamus Crehan of Crehan Research on rethinking data center architectures in light of the new flexibility, scalability and throughput characteristics that are now essential to handle virtualization, cloud computing and mobile networks.

Chandra Pandey, director of solutions engineering, Juniper Networks, will participate in a panel discussion chaired by Anil Vasudeva of IMEX Research on optimizing data center to cloud (D2C) architectures with Carrier Ethernet.
