Intellifiber network to offer QTS customers scalability, redundancy, low latency routes and deep portfolio of network services

(NASDAQ GS: PAET), which serves the growing network needs of enterprises, service providers and government markets, today announced it has won a multi-million dollar contract to provide managed network services to one of the largest data centers in North America. The Richmond, Virginia site, owned and operated by Quality Technology Services (QTS), is their newest and largest location, spanning 1.3 million square feet including up to 550,000 square feet of raised floor space and 150MW of power.
The QTS fiber build plan provides two distinct and diverse paths out of Richmond, creating a fully protected service delivering diverse routes to Culpeper and Northern Virginia. The service was specifically designed to meet the needs of Federal Agencies and large commercial enterprises which have performance expectations and often have to meet stringent requirements for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. The fiber build extends Intellifiber’s low-latency routes between Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Chicago.
