zColo Expanding Interconnection Service Offerings in New York, New Jersey Carrier Hotels

60 Hudson Street, 111 8th Avenue & 165 Halsey Street facilities to offer expanded interconnection capabilities

LOUISVILLE, Colo.January 18, 2010 – zColo, a network neutral provider of colocation and interconnection services, announced today that it will expand its interconnection service offerings, enabling Ethernet, DS1, DS3 and Fiber/OCN connectivity in their New York and New Jersey Carrier Hotels including:  60 Hudson Street, 111 8th Avenue and 165 Halsey Street.  zColo, exclusive operator of the 60 Hudson Street building Meet-Me-Room, provides extensive fiber capacity  throughout the buildings which enables broad interconnection, diversity and routing options for its customers.

zColo’s intra-building infrastructure provides interconnection to 30 suites in their 60 Hudson Street facility and 27 suites in their 111 8th Avenue facility.  Customers will be able to interconnect to more than 200 carrier and enterprise customers through DS1, DS3, Ethernet and fiber/OCN connections.

“Through the density of our vertical and horizontal dark and lit service assets, zColo enables connectivity to the major domestic and international carriers, low latency financial networks, and Content Distribution Networks (“CDN”) within these major communication Gateway locations,” stated Christopher Morley, President, zColo.

zColo announced last week that they are expanding their network neutral colocation and interconnection services into five new markets and that they intend to build Meet-Me-Room infrastructure into all of their facilities.  The expansion adds an additional 46,404 square feet of data center colocation space in the following markets:  Plymouth, MN, Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati, OH and Memphis, TN.  The Company additionally operates facilities in New York, New Jersey, Tennessee and California with 116,465 square feet of data center colocation space.
