Level 3 Services Enable eSchool Solutions to Improve Performance, Cut Costs and Implement a New Virtual Training Platform

eSchool to Connect More Than 29,000 Schools via Level 3’s Enterprise Voice and CDN Solutions

BROOMFIELD, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT, news, filings) today announced that it has signed an agreement with eSchool Solutions, an education software company based in Orlando, Fla., to improve that company’s voice performance and facilitate a virtual training platform utilizing Level 3’s content delivery network (CDN).

As a software provider to more than 600 school districts throughout the United States and Canada, eSchool Solutions requires services that facilitate high-quality communications with its customers and simplify interconnectivity amongst its various facilities. Under the new agreement, eSchool Solutions will use Level 3’s enterprise voice services to improve voice capabilities and performance, while capitalizing on the inherent cost savings of IP-based voice services. In addition to comprehensive voice solutions, eSchool will use Level 3’s CDN services for its new virtual training platform. Level 3’s CDN will enable eSchool to offer remote access to crucial internal training tools, thereby improving organizational productivity.
