Telx Adds Data Center Space In Dallas And New Jersey

Data Center and Interconnection Leader Increases Data Center Footprint in Two Key Markets

New York, NY (December 6, 2010)Telx®, a leading interconnection and colocation provider in strategic North American markets, today announced that it has expanded the data center footprints of two key locations: Dallas, Texas and Clifton, New Jersey. The addition of a total of 12,500 square feet of conditioned/raised floor capacity for financial institutions, media and content companies,  service providers, cloud providers and Software as a Service (SaaS) providers allows Telx to meet high demand for colocation and interconnection services at these two strategically-located data centers.

Telx’s Global Marketplace of customers is in need of connection-rich, strategically located data center suites to support their high-availability networks and on-demand applications, while meeting their own customers’ service level agreements (SLAs). The expansions in both Dallas and Clifton open up new opportunities for Telx customers, with immediate access to additional fully built, SAS 70-compliant, raised-floor data center space with up to 300 Watts of power per square foot.

“Telx successfully sold out the majority of Phase I capacity in our Dallas and Clifton data centers, and is expanding to meet current customer growth requirements along with new customer demand,” explained Brad Hokamp, Chief Marketing Officer of Telx. “Telx offers a proven colocation model that matches our enterprise customers’ data center requirements, along with industry-leading carrier density and interconnection services.”
