Terremark Closes $75 Million Senior Secured Second Lien Notes Offering

MIAMI, Nov 16, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Terremark Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ:TMRK) today announced the successful completion of the previously announced private placement of $75 million of its 9.5% senior secured second lien notes due 2013 at an issue price of 99.0%, resulting in a yield to maturity of 9.89%.

Terremark intends to use the net proceeds for working capital and other general corporate purposes to support the growth of its business, which may include capital investments to build out facilities.

The offering was made to qualified institutional buyers and certain non-U.S. persons in offshore transactions in accordance with Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The second lien notes have not been registered under the Securities Act and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from registration requirements.
