TelecityGroup, Europe’s leading provider of premium network independent data centres, has been named Grant Thornton Mid-Cap Business of Year at the National Business Awards 2010.
The National Business Awards are some of the UK’s most prestigious business accolades recognising organisations that demonstrate excellence, innovation and continued growth.
The judges were particularly impressed with TelecityGroup’s exceptional financial returns, sustained growth, and environmental leadership. During 2010, TelecityGroup has continued a programme of investment in key European markets to increase data centre capacity and meet customer demand. It opened a new state-of-the-art facility in Paris, and announced additional capacity expansion in London and new two new facilities in Manchester.The awards also acknowledged TelecityGroup’s industry-leading approach to maximising data centre energy efficiency, and how it is setting a best practice example for the entire industry.
