Expands network reach to address customer demand for carrier-neutral colocation services in Philadelphia
NEW YORK, NY – November 22, 2010 — Sidera Networks, Inc., a premier provider of fiber optic-based network solutions, today announced it has acquired Cross Connect Solutions, Inc., a Philadelphia-based carrier-neutral colocation provider.
With the acquisition of Cross Connect Solutions, Sidera will expand its existing colocation service offering and customer base in Philadelphia’s Central Business District. The addition of Cross Connect Solutions will add 28,000 square feet of colocation space to Sidera’s more than 100,000 total square feet of colocation space.
“We continue to see strong demand for carrier neutral colocation space throughout our footprint. This transaction allows Sidera to build upon its robust colocation offering, adding one more facility to our 26 existing facilities,” said Mike Sicoli, CEO of Sidera Networks.
