TOKYO, JAPAN – NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced today that its Biz Hosting Global virtual hosting service will launch in Shanghai, China on January 5, 2011 through partnership with local partners.
The service, currently available in Europe, Hong Kong, Japan and the United States, is part of NTT Com’s BizCITY® lineup of secure, cloud-based enterprise services available to business users from anyplace at anytime. Biz Hosting Global will leverage NTT Com’s premium data center in Shanghai to enable Japanese and other multinational companies to outsource key ICT infrastructure for the rapid, cost-efficient launch of secure, robust ICT initiatives.
NTT Com further announced today that it will upgrade the Biz Hosting Global customer portal, also on January 5. The upgrade will enable one-stop monitoring of optional services, such as firewall, external storage, backup and load balancer. Flexible resource management will help customers reduce ICT costs while raising operational efficiency.
The Biz Hosting Global customer portal currently allows users to monitor physical-server and virtual-machine status, turn on/off or reboot virtual machines and control resources immediately and remotely.
