Juniper Networks Wins Integrated Marketing Campaign of The Year From BtoB Magazine

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 14, 2010 — Juniper Networks (NASDAQ:JNPR, news, filings) today announced that it won the 2010 BtoB Marketing Award for Best Integrated Campaign from BtoB Magazine. The campaign introduces Juniper’s different approach to networking and matches the company’s great technology heritage with a stronger, more compelling marketing platform. “The New Network is Here” campaign addresses the exploding scale of personal and corporate Internet services while amplifying Juniper’s vision for a more open, scalable, simple and secure future of networking.

In an article published in the October issue of BtoB Magazine, editors refer to Juniper’s integrated campaign as “a textbook example of the genre.”

Juniper, in partnership with its agency, John McNeil Studio, unveiled the campaign at the New York Stock Exchange on the 40th anniversary of the first Internet message ever sent, granting birthday wishes to the old network and declaring the arrival of the new. The event coincided with the company’s move to the NYSE, and kicked off with the ringing of the opening bell. It included a reveal of the company’s new identity and logo, a series of print, online and outdoor advertisements, and rich multimedia content distributed via a newly created campaign Web site,

As winner of Integrated Campaign of the Year, Juniper is shortlisted for BtoB Magazine’s Best in Show Award which recognizes an overall winner from categories including online, television, outdoor, print, tradeshow, direct mail and integrated (less than $200,000). The Best in Show Award will be given at the BtoB Awards Luncheon in New York on November 10, 2010.
