INTEGRA TELECOM TO ACQUIRE SHARENET COMMUNICATIONS’ LOCAL EXCHANGE CUSTOMERS

PHOENIX, Oct. 18, 2010 – Integra Telecom Inc., a telecommunications provider for business, has entered into an agreement to acquire the local exchange customer base of Phoenix-based Sharenet Communications Company.

“Integra Telecom is pleased about the opportunity to integrate Sharenet’s customers into its Arizona operations,” said Byron Cantrall, senior vice president of Integra Telecom’s Arizona operations, “These customers can expect a smooth transition, in addition to experiencing Integra’s localized customer service and robust product offerings the company is known for, including its newly expanded services: Ethernet, broadband services, and SIP solutions”

Transfer of the Sharenet subscriber base to Integra Telecom is expected to occur before the end of 2010. The exact date of the transfer is dependent upon regulatory approval by the FCC and the Arizona Corporation Commission. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Prior to and immediately following the transfer, customers will receive the same telecom products and services at the same rates, terms and conditions as they do currently.
