TOKYO, 27 October 2010 – Pacnet has appointed Hirofumi Tadokoro as Chief Executive Officer of Pacnet Japan, with responsibility for the growth and expansion of Pacnet’s Japan operations.
Mr Tadokoro joins Pacnet from Verizon Japan, where he was General Manager of Global Sales since 2007 and delivered significant contributions to the company in enterprise and channel sales across the country.

With more than 25 years of telecom sales experience, Mr Tadokoro has also served as Sales Director for Datacraft Japan where he was responsible for direct sales to service providers and enterprises. Prior to Datacraft, he was based out of New York as Senior Director of Japan Vertical Market Sales at Equant. His extensive telecom experience also includes sales management roles at Global One, Sprint Japan and AT&T Japan. Mr Tadokoro received his Bachelor of Arts from the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies.
Mr Tadokoro takes over from former Pacnet Japan CEO Hideo Ishii, who has joined Pacnet’s corporate headquarters in Singapore as Vice President of Cloud and IP services.
