LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Windstream Corp. (NYSE:WIN, news, filings) today announced that it received consent from requisite lenders to amend certain provisions of its existing senior secured credit facilities.
The amendment, which is effective today, permits the signing of rural broadband stimulus grant agreements with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Utilities Service. The company also, among other things, received authorization to increase its senior secured leverage capacity.
